Weekly Tips: November 20

Several dishes currently on the menu feature Ontario chicory, now in peak season at local markets. The complimentary amuse includes savoy cabbage — it’s not to be missed.

Pan-roasted mid-Atlantic mackerel is especially delicious and difficult to obtain at this time of year. A tasting menu item you can request, it’s served with smoked pumpkin seeds and a potato blini. 

A standout third course on GEORGE’s tasting menu is the grilled venison, paired with fingerling potatoes and squash mascarpone.

For dessert, enjoy sticky toffee pudding, candied pistachio, or yellow kiwi sorbetto.
